“The simple way to increase motivation with ease.”
We all want to be more motivated people.
Motivation leads to action → Action leads to results.
But as we all know, it’s never that simple.
For most, being motivated is a constant struggle.
We know what we want.
We know how to get it.
Yet we procrastinate doing it.
It’s frustrating.
But don’t worry,
You’re about to find out how to create motivation with ease.

If you’re waiting to feel ‘motivated’, you’ve already lost.
Don’t rely on it to get things done.
Don’t expect it to just appear.
There’s no way to “force” yourself to be motivated.
So create the habits and discipline sufficient to continue when your motivation inevitably abandons you…
Or just use this equation…
It works.
The Motivation Equation:
The simple way to increase motivation on command.
This equation tells us our motivation toward taking action depends on 4 things:

M = (E*V) / (I*D)
To be more motivated, we simply need to:
Try to increase the value of the numerator(EXPECTANCY x VALUE) | Try to reduce the value of the denominator(IMPULSIVITY x DELAY) |
The next time you want to get up for something and you’re struggling to find the motivation…
Remember this equation!
Ask yourself…
How do I increase the top and reduce the bottom?
+ Expectancy
| - Impulsivity
|
+ Value
| - Delay
|
BONUS tips for getting motivated:
Create a routine
Exercise regularly and record progress
Break down large goals into smaller chunks
Reward yourself for completing tasks
Do things you used to enjoy
Remember why you started
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.
It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

Ironically, I’ve found it hard being motivated to write much this week.
But still,
